We are sick of all the lies and deception - we refuse to fall silent and passively legitimize crimes of greed committed in the name of peace and under the banner of human rights. The horrors in this world are manifold and overwhelming at times. Yet we cannot bear that our western culture is unable to resist and that ignorance reigns the day instead. We all fall back into the barbarity of the past when the rule of law becomes totally arbitrary and when justice is for the powerful only.
warprofit.com is a non-profit information project with the aim of bringing together different strands of journalistic research. We are fortunate to live in a country with free access to information and critical media. Therefore, we feel the responsibility to reveal the underlying context of a bloody war for power and oil. In doing so, we distance ourselves from conservative, radical or conspiracy theories. The result of our work is released in a compact format, a card-game, which we offer under the creative common licence, as a free download (bloodoilcards.pdf) and as print version (card-game quality) available for a nominal charge. This is an open-ended project (editorial deadline for the 1st edition: June 2004). We will continue to observe current developments and update our sources. It is our intention to distribute this information worldwide; therefore we appreciate help for translating the cards into different languages. Further, we would be grateful to receive any kind of sponsorship in order to realise printed editions in additional languages and to distribute the card-game in the respective countries
